The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, cloud computing, and Internet of Things applications expect the emerging memristor devices and their hardware systems to solve massive data calculation with low power consumption and small chip area.
BIZZCOM’s strategy aims to bring innovative solutions with high added value to the market. Thus, the Company’s effort to solve the most demanding problems in the industry has resulted in the creation of the following innovative solutions, preceded by proper research and development works:
We develop memristor-based neuromorphic solutions with best in class energy and material efficiency, high reliability and lifetime improvements, and security designs – to support first industrial deployment of strategic neuromorphic technologies into commercial products which will represent novel approach for device and equipment manufacturers to implement AI functions.

Who we are
Platform for common knowledge
These activities, inspired by BIZZCOM’s knowledge and expertise in microelectronics and the visionary potential identified by the research partners have led to the idea to systematically develop the memristor-based neuromorphic ecosystem and value chain.
Based on this idea, BIZZCOM has started to create links with stakeholders, including research institutions (e.g. Slovak Technical university, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca – Romania) industrial companies (e.g. Siemens, CONTINENTAL, ABB, Cognex, Semikron), but also individual talents.
The current network comprises especially research and industrial partners from the CEE region; however to ensure an accelerated uptake of memristor-based technologies it is necessary to build the ecosystem and value chain at European level and provide it with a first generation of memristor-based neuromorphic products that will enable spill-overs to other applications and industrial areas.
By creating a memristor-based value chain and neuromorphic computation-based ecosystem Bizzcom will support following common European interests:
– strengthening Europe’s capacity to design and fabricate the next-generation of memristor-based chips and embedded systems for applications in security, autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence to bolster the whole electronics and embedded systems value chain
– consolidating Europe’s position through actions targeting applications and products with high-added value, as well as with complex and strong system integration of neuromorphic computing technology as a whole.
